Dr. Wendy shares her story about her relationship with her mother, how the approval of her mother which was conditioned by achievements impacted her, and how she is raising her children differently. In her memoir, Tears of My Mother: The Legacy of My Nigerian Upbringing, Dr. Wendy details how her mother was her whole world, but when she became a mother herself everything changed.
