We watch a lot of movies, new and old. We have fun talking about what we like (and don't like) about them. We're part of the RetroZap podcast network.
Cha Cha ReFlicktions Smooth
It's another ReFlicktions episode, another chance for Dave and Mikey and #TwitterlessDrEarl to spill the beans on all the films seen in the last several weeks... and to help in making the episode 45 minutes longer than it needs to be, we welcome in The Pride of Vinings Georgia, the Spawn of Ryfun himself, Lil G Garrison Ryfun!
Amongst the topics discussed... The old Deucecast vs the new Deucecast... The joys of TubiTV… how good is Maverick… Garrison’s Purge Journey… Cronenberg’s recent work… talking what a woman is… Adam Sandler’s stage of his career… a few political opinions only held by those speaking them, not representative of the entire crew (we dunno. just thought we should say that)
Plus, #TwitterlessDrEarl pays off the first ever InternationEarl, discussing and ranking the four films assigned to him...

Non Musical Music Movies
It's Week 2 of #FanboySummer, and Dave, Mikey, and #TwitterlessDrEarl seek to improve the show by bringing on people better than all of us... and when its about music, when its about movie music, when its about movies about music but aren't musicals, what better person to bring in than Mississippi's Finest, guitar player and worship leader and podcast host and Discord Datcord fellow Matt Mink, aka, The Mink Panther.
The fellas talk about Matt and where he's from, where he's going, and why he loves music. The discussion leads to some of the group's fave music influences, including some old country like The Statlers, Jamie Johnson, and more Kentucky Headhunters than any podcast has talked about in recent memory. And, of course, the Forrester Sisters, because of course.
Then, the return of Birthday Movies, including the absolute murderer's row of films released in June 1987, then the Top Five movies about music, but are not actually musicals... films with the beloved Anna Kendrick and films with Pixar and films with a non Danielsan Ralph Macchio but not the early Britney Spears and films with Michelle Pfieffer on a piano and films with George Clooney lip syncing and a Fountains of Wayne shout out and d$ in touch with his heritage on a golf cart in Cancun and of course, Christopher Guest.
And a ton more. Stick around in the aftershow segment to hear who gets #3 on FanboySummer!

Deuce Got Game
It's the first episode of #FanBoySummer, featuring one of the show listeners not only joining the show, but picking the topic!
Today, Mikey, d$ (returning from his death bed), and #TwitterlessDrEarl welcome back Friend of the Show and Mr Independent himself, Jeremy Burgess.
First up, a gangsta' game of Rotten Tomatoes, honoring one we lost too soon -- Ray Liotta, and his best (and not so best) films. Then, Burgess' topic pick, figuring how we've done football and baseball centric themes, and so this time, it's all round ball.... Top Five Best Basketball movies.
And it makes for an even better time when two of the four have only seen a marginal amount of hoops films, one has seen mostly documentaries, and the fourth being the only true basketball cinematic expert.
The movies discussed, and where they are streaming at time of recording:

Doctor Strange in the Deuceverse of Madness
The Deucecast Team decided to spend the Holiday weekend with our families but we couldn't leave our loyal listeners without content.
This is the audio version of our YouTube Show The Deucecast Extra in which we did a spoiler filled discussion of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Dave, Mikey, and TwitterlessDrEarl are joined by Deucecast staples Garrison, Roth in Wyoming, and Hurricane Rhett for a really fun conversation that goes off the rails as expected.
We'll be back next week with the beginning of our Listener curated episodes. Can't wait for you all to hear who won week one.
Take My ReFlicktions Away
When Mikey, d$, and #TwitterlessDrEarl only have about 20 movies between them, thereby ensuring the ReFlicktions would be fairly short. We can't have that, so let's invite in the Pride of Kennesaw and the Spawn of Scotty Ryfun, the Lil G himself Garrison Ryfun.
We are here to spill the beans, no spoilers, plus discuss other hot topics like...
The simplicity of early Fantastic Four... #TwitterlessDrEarlsPretentiousCorner... Liam's too old... if Anna Paquin deserved her Oscar... Lucy Deakins whereabouts... old vs new Firestarter... Zac Efron's potential and what he needs to be in... surprising Jason Biggs... a rewatch of Tom Cruise... catching up with Rick Rossovich and Whip Hubley... Channing Tatum's RUFF watch... and the IP of Chip & Dale's Rescue Rangers...
Plus, Garrison can't get away from Take My Breath Away...
And the movie assignments for the inaugural InternationEarl!!!

In just a week or so, the Deucecast Guys enter into the Danger Zone again, at a preview for Top Gun, so that leads the discussion to TOP FIVE DOGFIGHTS in movie history. Snoop, Snoopy, The Bounty Hunger or Junkyard are not included. A task too big for just d$, Mikey, and #TwitterlessDrEarl, so who do they turn to? Of course, Hurricane Rhett, because this show has been on the rails way, way too long.
First, memories of the original Top Gun... where did everyone see it? How young, and how many zippers were on those parachute pants?
Then, the top five movies with aerial battles, mostly featuring planes, but some with helicopters, even some fists, and a stealth fighter named Firefox.
Mikey has the Zoa on tap... Memphis Belle's true mission... the Time Vortex... Ken Olin gets a namedrop... USA Night Flight... the badness of Pearl Harbor... the goodness of Dunkirk... Mikey's weird voices... ID4 mistakes... AirWolf vs Blue Thunder, featuring Riptide... All the Iron Eagles...

Great movie conversation!!!!
Great guys, great show
This podcast is tons of fun for anybody who has ever enjoyed a movie. The hosts are knowledgeable, the guests are always awesome, and you'll come away either having learned about a movie you have seen or with a list of new things to watch. Highly recommended.
One to listen to!
This is a great podcast with friends talking about movies! I love to see if their views are the same as mine, or different. It feels like you’re at the table, and at times I find myself “joining in the conversation” out loud even though they can’t hear me. Lol! I encourage you to give it a listen!
