Called To Rised
Very impressive, but not surprising!
I must go out and purchase this book immediately to go with my collection of reading.
I graduated from South Oak Cliff H S with David Brown and he has “always “ been a man of good character and good moral.
We had classes together and I’ve always admired his style, self determination, sensitivity toward human being and his slow to get angry attitude toward people.
He was voted “ mostly likely” to succeed in our senior class and believe it or not, I was mentioned in that honor as well, but Brown was selected and deserved it as his life story is being read about now.
Kudos to former Dallas Police Chief David O Brown, I’m so proud for him!
I think that every middle school boy should be given a copy of “Called To Rise” for motivation and inspiration.

Review of Called to Rise
I truly enjoyed listening to the review of Called to Rise. I had the fortunate opportunity to read this book and it was such an easy read for such a complex journey by Brown. Your review reveals the professional and personal challenges without unveiling too much for those who have not read the book yet. Thank you both for a great review with intentionality and purpose both for life and in the Law Enforcement industry.
