With the 8th pick in their pocket, several needs at the defensive end of the ball, and having recently signed Kirk Cousins to $180 million, they took 23-year-old injury-prone quarterback Michael Penix Jr. After that it was pandemonium. Fortunately, we have a friend of the program, the incomparable Chan Gailey to help us sort out the first round, and tell us what the falcons were thinking.

Nice to hear variety
Appreciate the variety of interviews on a wide range of topics especially when they have historical significance.
Not helpful
Often he doesn’t tell you who is a republican and who’s a democrat. Nationally people do not necessarily know house & senate names in other states. Confusing and unhelpful to hear.
Intelligent, rational dialogue
Doug takes a rational, common sense approach, which I appreciate in today’s world where logic seems to be severely lacking. I love the way Doug brings in his knowledge of history from George Washington to JFK - timeless gems of wisdom still very relevant today. Very intelligent dialogue!
