The Elderland Chronicles is a bi-weekly cinematic audio drama podcast following the misadventures of Aldor the Consumer and Carl Amberlin as they navigate the city of Torn in pursuit of the next High King of Elderland.

Chapter 7, The Seventh Chapter
Podrick and his band of peasants celebrate their sweet victory in the Battle of the Barricades. DeLorian shows Aldor his prized fairy collection. Brenan and his band of thieves make a surprising discovery. Alice prepares to leave Torn in pursuit of her parent’s killer. Lady Lauria tends to her Lord in his wounded state. Baron Telenok gets closer, ever closer to Torn.

Possessed by fairy dust, King Podrick and his peasant followers battle it out against Lord Beredall’s town watch. Baron Telenok wrestles a wild beast on the road to Torn.

Alice and Carl unearth a dead cook for Agnes. DeLorian, Aldor, and a band of Podrick’s men raid Torn’s armory to secure weapons and shields for the battles to come. Lord Beredall plans an all out assault on the grain quarter. On the road, Baron Telenok plays matchmaker for his sweet servant, Marigold.

Chapter 4, The New Decree
Lord Beredall confronts the wizard Aldor about his illicit affair with Lady Lauria. The witch Agnes sends Alice and Carl on a culinary mission. King Podrick and Lord Beredall face off in the town square. Chaos ensues. Blood is spilled! And in the aftermath, Podrick hires a competent strategist to help him in the imminent conflict ahead.

I'm intrigued
So far, it’s about the funny antics of a hapless wizard and a hapless dwarf but I have a sneaking suspicion it’s probably going to be about a hypercompetent woman with a mysterious past. I hope. If you like Once and Future Nerd, it’s similar but has enough that sets it apart.
