The people that get it, get it. The people that don’t, don’t. But in this episode we attempt to explain what makes Jacksonville so great, and we brought in an expert.

Katie Mitura is the Chief Marketing Officer at Visit Jacksonville, and for the last 19 years she’s been getting people to visit and love Jax like she does - and she makes an excellent case. She is the brain behind the Jacksonville Ale Trail, the first in Florida by the way, which brings in travelers from all over. She also spends a lot of her time pitching our city to conferences and event planners to get them to come to our city for a huge economic boost.

Katie’s big campaign right now is called Bring It Home, if you have a conference or business retreat you attend, Katie wants you to send her your contact and bring that conference or event here to Jacksonville. You get to show off your city AND be the hometown hero.
