Love the podcast, just wanted to say something
I’ve watched the wisdom of Oden YouTube channel and listen to all the episodes of The Folk Podcast, as well as been a patreon subscriber and gone to a gathering. So don’t take this the wrong way, I am a big fan. I like that each one of the hosts brings a different flavor to the podcast. I am not necessarily a Thor follower, but I do find a lot of meaning in sustaining the physical capacity of my body, as well as utilizing my body for physical feats in honor of my ancestors. Thus, was a little irritated by the jesting around in episode 88. Nonetheless, love the podcast, love the YouTube channel, and will continue to be an avid consumer of Jacob’s contact. Maybe Ian can expand on possible rituals he might embark on that require training not just your mind but your “boughty” (insert German accent). I personally like the idea of rights of passage in stone lifting, long distance backpack wandering, or possible fasting periods concluded with an overnight utiseta.
Amazing, Casual, and Pagan lol
It’s hard to find a good podcast that is casual, not to serious for those moments you want to listen to Norse pagan material but take a break from research, studies, and hard facts / lectures. From a Norse pagan to anyone reading, this is by far the best podcast to listen to while driving, working, or just relaxing if you want to casually listen to pagan topics that seem like legitimate casual conversation rather than a class. Skal.
When I needed another follower of the Norse ways.
I find episode 20 to be your best episode, yet. I too am starting my own blog, and I would like to start a podcast. The advise you are giving your guest I truly take to heart! Thank you! I will also be looking out for raven’s eye podcast and/or YouTube channel.
