    Hobbying and Angry Game Mechanics

    Hobbying and Angry Game Mechanics

In this episode, Liam and Nathan remotely dial in to discuss hobbying, the latest Games Workshop announcements, and irritating video game mechanics, amongst other things.
In part 1, they discuss the new Patreon exclusive content they're creating, a blog about creating a new Warhammer 40kk army, from spru to painted model. They then move on to the latest Games Workshop announcements, and their thoughts and concerns for the new edition of rules.
Moving on to part 2, Nathan gives a brief spoiler free review on Metro Exodus, and the two DLC that he played on stream. Liam then does a brief coverage of Dark Souls, before they spend time getting out their rage over game mechanics and designs that they heavily disagree with!

    Lovecraft, Horror, and Rats

    Lovecraft, Horror, and Rats

The FURNcast returns, with episode 23. In this one, Liam and Nathan are joined by all-round cool cat Heather, from the Valkyries. They get together to discuss Lovecraft, the Cthulhy mythos, and media related to that, and some rats and magic.
In part 1, they discuss and review Colour out of Space, the first Lovecraft book adaption to see the big screen, and how much of a fan of horror they actually are. The conversation move forwards into a discussion of the 2018 Call of Cthulhu video game, from Focus Home Interactive and Cyanide that Liam recently streamed on Twitch, and how well that followed the "rules" of a horror game.
In part 2, the Call of Cthulhu discussion continues, but this delves into the RPG by Chaosium, and the home game campaign that Liam recently ran for Nathan and a few others, covering first impressions from both sides of the screen. Finally, they wrap up the episode with a talk about rats, mystical blood magic, and immersion-breaking game mechanics, doing a review of A Plague Tale: Innocence from Focus Home Interactive and Asobo Studio.

    E3 Oww!

    E3 Oww!

Nathan returns to the FURNcast, along with Swin and Liam, and a slightly different format. There are some minor issues with this episode, so bear with us on that. We sit and talk about the various games we're excited about from E3, playing the trailers, and talk about the new D&D campaign: Baldur's Gate: Descent into Avernus. Apologies that we did a poor job at stating which game we were talking about, hopefully the trailer audio will help identify!
