Customer Reviews
perfect for the serious Sharks fan.
Gackle's probably the best thing to happen to Sharks coverage since Dave Pollak's coverage at the Merc eons ago (yes, I'm old). Each episode is an in-depth exploration of a hockey issue facing the Sharks - much more substantial than you'll find today at the Merc, ESPN, and much higher quality than you'll find on fan blogs. Gackle's Canadian and not a Sharks fan - two attributes that let him speak about SJS with bracing honesty. And while I wouldn't call him a tactician or analytics guy, he does say a lot of insightful things that help me notice subtle aspects of the game.
My only complaints, if you can can call them that, is a) he can sometimes repeat himself excessively or b) go off on tangents. c), the production value isn't top-shelf. But what do you want? This guy's putting together a great Sharks commentary all by his lonesome. Small price to pay.
