My Morning Therapy
I live for listening to this podcast on my commute to work in the mornings. Each host brings a uniquely genuine perspective and personality to the (sometimes risqué) topics into which they dive. Their discussions are raw, honest and vulnerable - they give insight into a world - and the realities of it - that we often neglect to talk about. If we could all take one lesson from this podcast, it is to plant that seed of vulnerability in our own lives.. water it well and watch it grow throughout our small circles, our community and, ultimately, our world.
Love Love Love!!!!
Love this podcast you all are amazing! Can’t wait to hear some more. 10 stars but apple limits me to five!
Potential
I like hearing new podcasts started and staffed by gays and allies. Conversation is always good. This one has potential, but needs to find a unique voice and/or unique topics. Also, topic driven podcasts need clear storylines and constructs. This is still 4 guys who often talk over each other. Also, I get that they want a diversity of perspectives, but it is often 3 similar minds and one outlier (Dante). Listening to the 21 year old Dante is tough for me. He often jumps in with a very strident or absolute positions (e.g. “I hate straight men”). He then goes into a rapid fire monologue until he runs out of breath and has to stop. Then he finally listens to the other 3 positions and then he often revises or modulates his initial, knee-jerk response or contradicts himself. He is probably the most stereotypical of the 4 and unfortunately his very high register isn’t a voice for radio.
Good luck. I hope this podcast finds its voice and audience.
