The Good Girl Podcast is a podcast that's redefining what it means to be good through uncomfortable truths about ourselves. I call those truths confessions. Through these confessions, The Good Girl Podcast has become a space of unabashed conversation that addresses some of the deepest and raw thoughts of the woman. It’s unapologetic talk about who we are.
The number one source of our relationship problems
Relationships can be challenging. Period. Great ones, bad ones, right ones, wrong ones. The truth is every single relationship will present its unique set of challenges that oftentimes force one person to examine their perspective, character, and even desires for companionship. But what's most interesting, is that there is a source or common thread that creates the problem in all of our relationships.
Allofum - familial, romantic, business, work -
You know what is it ?- It's you.
Yes, you, me, we, and our lack of accountability. Listen as licensed mental health therapist, Danielle Moore of the Refresh Wellness Center, and host, Cameo King explore lack of accountability can destroy some of the most solid and cherished relationships.
What I'm learning about growth in this season...
A lot of how we measure growth and success can easily be categorized as fickle because there isn't necessarily an across-the-board accurate measuring tool for true growth. We can't solely rely on the quantifying of money or adding a healthy relationship as growth because there is so much more to a person than money and relationships. For true growth, we must consider the human element of spirit, emotions, and character. This is why this week I'm sharing what I'm learning about true growth outside of the numbers and relationships.
How scarcity mentality truly holds you back.
This week I'm sharing something that I've been working on and working through. It's something that can easily keep anyone in bondage and has kept me from living my best life, and might I add, being in alignment with God --- that is a scarcity mentality.
Scarcity Mentality is the belief that resources are finite, that there is not enough to go around. This affects every part of our lives whether we know it or not, not just money but also opportunities that are available to us, seats at the proverbial table, customers, and relationships.
Listen to this week's confession about how this mentality affects how we experience and show up in life, relationships, in our purpose.

Being a Black queer woman in the church
There are some experiences that humble you, shift your perspective on the world, and open your eyes to another slice of God's character. I believe being a Black queer woman in a traditional faith setting, like the Christian church is one of them. This week, Rev. Erica Williams shares her journey that began at Black Baptist church in Saginaw, MI seeking "purity" and is now the founding pastor, as a Black queer woman, at Set It Off Ministries, an international, interfaith, intergenerational ministry that seeks to empower, educate, and emancipate poor and working-class communities around the world.
A conversation with a sexologist about...sex.
"Everything is not all orgasms and rainbows," said Goody Howard, the award-winning sexologist, educator, and consultant. Goody graces The Good Girl Podcast confessional with the topic of sex (obviously). She expands our thinking about what sex is and how we experience it in everyday life and in our bedrooms. In her words, "I can connect any and everything to the absence or presence of comprehensive sexuality education on this planet."

But listening to the Good Girl Podcast helps me refocus and life in the now. I love how candid the discussions are which allows me to be vulnerable with myself.
This podcast is everything that I didn’t know that I needed!
I love how candid the discussions are and how I’m encouraged despite my shortcomings! 💕
