    #32 Bless It All

    #32 Bless It All

Life is rarely never contained in tidy, quantifiable boxes. It's a hot mess of everything from lost keys to lost dreams, cracked screens to fractured relationships. It's too much and not enough. Things don't have to be shiny and perfect to be worthy of note. Some things are just…true.

Let's bless it all. Naming the true and the good around us reorients our heart to the One who gives every good thing. (James 1:17) It lifts our gaze from the chaos and questions before us, reminding us of how very loved and cared for we truly are. ♥️

This episode is me cheering you on in whatever season you're living! Listen for a conversation about: surviving hard seasons, sweetness on the other side, routines that make me smile, progress (aka grace), song lyrics, and so much more!

The Goodness & Grace Podcast encourages you to seek God’s goodness in all seasons, to trust His provision and faithfulness, and to enjoy a cozy moment doing what you love. Goodness is here, and grace is for us- always!

    #31 Moments of More

    #31 Moments of More

This episode is for you if your heart is always searching for answers, conclusions, or just a “sneak peek” of what the future holds. I’m with you! God has set eternity in our hearts because we're made for forever with Him. But what about today? We can stew in the unknowns around us, but we might just miss out on the beauty in every moment we're blessed to live.

Marvel in God's ability to turn every moment into something more. What everyday moment turns your face back to His? Praise Him for it! And enjoy it! And rest in the knowledge that because it happened once, it can happen again. That's hope, friends! He is always seeking us.

The future will always be there. Our questions and worries probably will be, too. Hard things are hard. AND God provides relief in every connection with Him. When we can, let's come up for air. Glow in His goodness. And pass it on! 😊

The Goodness & Grace Podcast encourages you to seek God’s goodness in all seasons, to trust His provision and faithfulness, and to enjoy a cozy moment doing what you love. Goodness is here, and grace is for us- always!

    #30 Junk Drawer Prayers

    #30 Junk Drawer Prayers

I tend to bring some major junk-drawer-energy to my Jesus. Dumping a pile of mismatched worries, hopes, and fleeting thoughts at His feet. Missing pieces. Half-empty ideas. All of it just pleads, “What can you do with this?”

He's in the business of redeeming, of making all things new. (Rev. 21:5) So many times, we've asked God to “Please redeem this. Help it be better," not even sure of what we're hoping. But He knows.

Nothing is out of His reach or out of His view. He sees what weighs on our minds or breaks our hearts. He holds our dreams and our questions. He cares so very much about every aspect of our lives because we are precious to Him.

Listen to this episode for hope in a tough season, a reminder that God hears all prayers, and that all goodness and growth are signs of His gracious love!

    #29 Slippery Places

    #29 Slippery Places

Let’s talk about “slippery places.” You know, moments of FOMO or exhaustion that pull us into a swamp of comparison, dissatisfaction, and a generally distorted view of our circumstances. (Yikes!) This is when we tend to lose sight of goodness. We forget who and Whose we are!

“Slippery places” remind us that we need God. Some days, just recognizing how much we need His presence is all we can do. We can be thankful that’s all He needs us TO do. What a blessing that He is with us, in cloud and sunshine, ready for us to call on Him for help. Rest in the assurance of God's presence with us always. Abide in Him. He is good. ♥️

The Goodness & Grace Podcast encourages you to seek God’s goodness in all seasons, to trust His provision and faithfulness, and to enjoy a cozy moment doing what you love. Goodness is here, and grace is for us- always!

Hymns

Hymns connect so many generations ! As you pointed out- the message remains relevant & current across the years. When my mother’s dementia robbed her of language, she would still sing her favorite hymns if we played the tune. The words remained in her heart & Blessed Assurance was her favorite. Thank you for a podcast that is bite size but so relevant to our individual faith journeys.

Breath of fresh air

“Hymn girl” really resonated with me - I too am surrounded by musicians in my family. Growing up, each family gathering had multiple string instruments hanging in the corner, waiting for us to finish our meal so they could fill the room with song and joy.
My personal favorite would have to be “How Great Thou Art”.
