God and His purpose is meant to bring human beings to a sense of humble reverence and awe of Him.

The faith of Abel displays for us what it means to give by faith.

By faith we walk with God on earth trusting in His promise that we will walk with him even in death.

By faith, we believe that God created the universe and holds it together. Because of this, we can glorify God in all things, resting in Jesus’ sovereignty over all circumstances.

God has called us to live by faith in Him. Though we have not seen him, we believe in Him, and by faith, we live our lives to please Him. 

As the Preacher closes his writings, He once again reminds us that everything under the sun is vanity. Yet, he points us to his final conclusion: fear God and keep His commandments, for this is the whole duty of man.
