The Grove Church is a neighborhood church located in Dallas, TX. We love the imagery of coming together as a community and being the group of 'fruit-bearing trees' that Jeremiah writes about in the Old Testament (see Jeremiah 17:7-8). Our vision for The Grove is to become a church that lives out its faith in tangible ways, intentionally creating environments that gather people together, grow them closer to God, and give back to our neighbors. This podcast is our audio versions of live sermons preached every Sunday online and in-person.
How to Be a Disciple
Simon Peter in Luke's Gospel gives us the perfect example of how to be a model disciple. In this sermon, Pastor Allie walks us through Jesus' call to the disciples and shows us how we, too, can be fishers of men.
The Lies In Our Lives
In chapter 4 of his gospel, Luke recounts Jesus's fight with the devil and the devil's temptations in the wilderness. In this sermon, Pastor Stephen shares a better way to understand temptation and spot the lies in our lives.
Are You Prepared?
In the third chapter of Luke, John the Baptist calls all people to repentance in preparation for the coming of Christ. Their response is, "What shall we do?" It's this response that Pastor Stephen helps us wrestle with and how we can answer this question in our own lives.
False, Fiction, True or Truth?
Luke pens his gospel with the intent that it creates certainty about who Jesus is and what his life, death, and resurrection mean. In this sermon, Pastor Stephen emphasizes why it's important we answer the question of certainty for ourselves.
How to Wrestle with God
Learning to sit in stillness and silence is challenging at best, but at its most difficult, it can feel like a wrestling match with God. In this sermon, Pastor Stephen shares that our blessing and true identity are on the other side of our wrestling.
What You Should Do When You're Lost
As children, when we're lost, we're told that we should stay put and ask for help. In this sermon, Pastor Stephen shows that even as adults, this simple childhood lesson remains true.
I have been going to The Grove for three months now and have loved every second of it. God is working through these people and you can hear it in the sermons. Would recommend to anyone looking for a church to call home.
