In a story, the plan is given to the hero by the guide. It lays out the path for the hero to follow and explains who the hero needs to become to succeed. We see this in Star Wars with Obi-Wan Kenobi teaching Luke how to use the Force.

Similarly, we long for a plan in our own lives - someone or something to tell us what to do and who to become. But the danger comes when we trust the wrong guide and follow a bad plan. In this sermon, Rev. Stephen Lohoefer talks about the plan available to all of us and how to follow it.
