The Harried Life Podcast Aparicio (Reese) and Kasha Giddins - Dluxedad and Trackmommy

Are you sending your kids back to school? Are they physically going back or are they doing remote learning? All of these discussions are happening in our homes and being played out state by state around the country. We are having these same discussions in our family and we share our thoughts about our intentions for this upcoming school year. The beauty of this is that Kasha is a school administrator so we get some insight into what she is thinking. Best of the Best is awesome this episode.

After 18 years of being together, we have experienced some hardships. We have used those hardships to learn from and help others avoid, if we can, from making the same mistakes. Our kids are back! We had to go home to check on Reese's mom and the girls stayed with Kasha's parents as a change of scenery from the quarantine life and we realized we missed them so much. That got us thinking about our journey to become parents and what went into the decision. Everyone thinks having a baby is easy and it is not. We talk about that - miscarriages, cherishing the time that we have with them and also making sure we make time for us. Great episode!! In this episode we talk about Childhood Summer Fun - what we did, what made it fun, and how we can leverage those activities with our own kids now that we are dealing with COVID. In this episode have a conversation about the impact to us personally as it relates to the George Floyd murder in Minneapolis, MN. We openly discuss the conversations with our daughters about the humanity problem in America and what is needed to move an entire country forward. We have some light hearted moments and still lots of laughter. Kasha sneezes mid recording and I allow the audience to experience it too :) Please share your feedback with us!
