After graduating from the University of Southern California, Dawn was figuring out what she wanted to do in her life and decided to reach out to her favorite youtuber Jenn Im. She started providing free work for Jenn, which then led her to create DLD Studio. Since then she has helped the top female youtubers and fashion brands with branding and design.

In this episode, we talk about how they got started, why you should put yourself out there, and the mindset you need to start your own business.

Growing up, Josh Martin was a band guy. He didn't involved in football until his freshman year of high school and only played Varsity in his senior year. It goes to show that if you put your mind to something and work hard at it, a lot can happen in a short period of time. After playing college football at Columbia University, he started playing as a linebacker for the New York Jets. It takes a certain mentality to be at the professional level, and in this episode, we tap into his mindset on how he got there. Not only is Josh playing as a professional athlete in the NFL, but he is leveraging his celebrity status to create opportunities for himself outside of football. 

After graduating college at the University of Washington, David and Andrew Fung left Seattle and moved to Los Angeles to pursue entertainment. They had their eyes on becoming mainstream stand-up comedians and entertainers. But when they realized that getting into that industry was more difficult as a newcomer, they quickly turned routes and decided to pursue YouTube. As Kevjumba, Wong Fu Productions, and Timothy Delaghetto created paths as Asian Youtubers, David and Andrew Fung saw YouTube as their own opportunity to become entertainers. Today, the Fung Bros have over 2 million subscribers on YouTube and have created videos which reflect the Asian American experience. This is their story on how they started on Youtube, how they created a name for themselves, and their advice to kids who want to become YouTubers.

As a successful DJ, Steve Aoki climbs the charts of the hottest hits in this generation. He's made a world-wide name for himself, and continues to innovate his sounds and entrepreneurial ambitions. Because he has created such a life for himself, I wanted to tap into his mindset and ask him if he has any advice for someone who had just graduated college and is just figuring it out.
