JP is joined by none other than the King of Hoopspaces, Chris Barnett. The Man, the myth, the legend talks about the rise of his Hoopspaces from Club House to having thousands of listeners every week, on Twitter. We dive into the shenanigans which was the Philadelphia 76ers season, and what went wrong (Did anything go right?). Of course, JP and Chris breakdown the Warriors/Celtics Finals matchup only as those two can. Then the fellas talk about the absolute need for the NBA to do something about the flopping plague that is stinking up the NBA. And in Jab Step fashion, Chris ends the show with some NBA cinema talk, and the two players from yesteryear that he'd would have liked to see playing in today's game. Jabari is back with another fun conversation for you centered around Team USA basketball and how nostalgia can impact our collective sports memories. Roger Lodge, AM 830's (Los Angeles) host of The Sports Lodge, was kind enough to join for today's conversation and provided some excellent historical perspective on the 1992 squad.
Danny Marang, co-host of the Jacked Ramsays Podcast for Blue Wire, was also a fantastic addition to today's conversation as he broke down how he actually wound up as a Blazers die hard even though the grew up in Los Angeles. Eventually, the trio ranked and discussed each of the '92, '08 and '12 teams.

The Jab Step is UNSTOPPABLE
Love how Jabari uses this show to go back in time and reminisce on the teams and players he and his guests loved coming up. As an old soul, I love that. And the combination of Basketball & Hollywood is dope and an underrated combo. And if you know ball I’ll just say this…It’s never a good thing to get caught sleeping on The Jab Step…
It's a 5 point (star) play
In Basketball the Jab Step is used as a fake to get a defender to commit, only for the offensive player to do something differet. Interest name used by Jabari Davis, considering his role on The Nba Baseline Podcast. This is indeed a basketball show, but coming from a different angle. Jabari and his three guests have a round table discussion of topics outside of the daily NBA norm.
So far I have been impressed with Jabari's ability to keep the conversations fresh and flowing. Equally impressive have been his guests so far. The entertainment value has been high, and it seems that there is plenty of room to continue to grow.
The Jab Step seems to leading to an easy score, and the crowd will go wild.
