As both a bishop and archbishop, Blessed George was recognized for his work as an apostle of unity during tumultuous times in his native Lithuania. Throughout his life, he launched important initiatives that mobilized the laity for the greater good of the Church. And without Blessed George, there would be no Marian Congregation today.

So grateful to learn about this blessed man
Thank you father Roesch for introducing us to new Blessed and saints. I am truly enjoying Blessed George and am praying with you everyday for his intercession. (He may be interceding for me…. I will let you know) God bless you
Blessed George has interceded for me (I wrote in to report my gift from his intersession)! But I just had to mention something I just noticed on the door to my office of my new job (the fruit of his intersession)… all offices have a plaque on the door dedicated to someone’s deceased relative and on my office door it says “in loving memory to George!!!! God is so good!

Wonderful insight
I have great respect and admiration for the Marian Fathers of the Immaculate Conception. They are among the most courageous men I know. Listening to Fr. Roesch read and explain Blessed George’s journal is giving me invaluable insight into the extreme difficulties he faced in renovating the Congregation so that it could become what it is today.
