    Dear Listeners,
Here is the fifth podcast episode of The Journey Mama Writings podcast, where I read the books in my Journey Mama Writings series, starting with Trees Tall as Mountains.

In this episode I read the chapters from September 2006 to October 2006 and then reflect a little at the end of the episode with my hindsight notes. There are parts about how Chinua and I met, as well as reflections on marriage after 20 years.

I hope you love this audio journey and share with people who love audio. I’ll be releasing the full book when it’s recorded, but only the podcast will have the hindsight.

Trees Tall as Mountains #2 - Breakdancing three-year-old, Zipperneck, and a year of freedom. With hindsight.

    Dear Listeners,
Here is the second podcast episode of The Journey Mama Writings podcast, where I read the books in my Journey Mama Writings series, starting with Trees Tall as Mountains.
In this episode I read the chapters from November 2005 to March 2006 and then reflect a little at the end of the episode with my hindsight notes. I talk a bit about my journey with understanding that I am on the autism spectrum- this began in 2009, and it’s something I can read back and see in my life before that point!
I hope you love this audio journey and share with people who love audio. I’ll be releasing the full audio book when it’s fully recorded, but only the podcast will have the hindsight. Also, the first two episodes are a bit on the longer side. I soon learned that it was better to keep them a bit shorter.
Thanks for reading and listening, everyone.
And I fully appreciate your support! This podcast is supported by my amazing patrons. You can support Small Seed Press and my writing and podcasting at http://patreon.com/journeymama for less than the cost of a cup of coffee a month. (And you’ll get my daily poetry in your inbox)

Trees Tall as Mountains #1 - My woods, crying in public, and Lump. With hindsight.

Dear Audiophiles, here we are, finally!
My audio journey is beginning with the first podcast episode of The Journey Mama Writings podcast, where I read the books in my Journey Mama Writings series, starting with Trees Tall as Mountains.
As you’ll hear, I’ve been working on the recordings for this book and podcast for a while now (at one point in the hindsights part of the episode, I mention that it is 2021 and Kai is almost nineteen— that’s the past!).
I decided to podcast these books with hindsight- my reflections on the things I wrote nearly seventeen years ago, and it’s been fun (and hard, to be honest) to reflect on those times.
In this episode I read the introduction and the chapters from August to October, 2005, and then reflect a little at the end of the episode.
You can find the podcast on iTunes or Spotify or other places you get your podcasts, as well as on Youtube.
And I fully appreciate your support! This podcast is supported by my amazing patrons. You can support Small Seed Press and my writing and podcasting at http://patreon.com/journeymama for less than the cost of a cup of coffee a month. (And you’ll get my daily poetry.)
