“Are not there little chapters in everybody's life, that seem to be nothing, and yet affect all the rest of the history?” W.M. Thackeray
Welcome to The Little Chapters - a podcast about living life the want, not the one you think you should.
Kayte Ferris and Jessica Rose Williams are two friends who met online through their intention and striving to live on their own terms. We have each changed our lives in big and small ways over the last few years, and continue to learn and explore our own little chapters of life, work and creativity.
This podcast is for like-minded souls treading their own path to a life a little different - let it be your permission slip, your company on the road, and your reminder that you’re not alone. We’ll be diving into conversations on mindset, lifestyle, creativity, expectations and all the roadblocks that come with a decision to exist outside of the norm. We hope to keep you company and kindle your curiosity for a life lived differently.

Lack vs Abundance
Jess and Kayte have always talked a lot about mindset, and these conversations often revolve around having either a mindset of lack or of abundance. In this episode we lengthen and deepen our conversation around this topic, defining the terms, talking about how it shows up for us in both work and life, touching upon gender issues as well as school sports days.

Brought in by Friendship
The Friendship episode brought me here. I found a lot of value in listening to these two discuss the realities and practicalities of friendship—especially because there’s such a lack of content on this topic! As a self-employed person, I’m excited to listen to more.
💜💙💚💛🧡❤️
I’m so glad I found this podcast after searching for content on self-employment. 🥰 After I listened to one episode I was hooked and downloaded every episode. I really enjoy the natural conversation style and Kate and Jess made me feel like I was hanging out with good friends. Thank you for all the inspiration!
