Hidden Gem
I am very lucky I stumbled upon this podcast while searching Chinese history. The host and co-host are both wonderful. The main host’s knowledge is beyond most historians considering he not only makes historical comparison within Chinese history (comparing dynasties) but with western, middle eastern, and global histories as well.
I find his nerdy enthusiasm to be quite adorable and you can sense how passionate he is about Chinese culture. I’m a huge fan, highly suggest the main and co-host to post a blurb about yourselves.
Accessible Explainer
This podcast tells stories from Chinese history in a way that is accessible to Western listeners, sometimes pointing out interesting connections to or parallels with the West.
