As Messiah, Jesus offers us over-flowing spiritual fulfillment (John 4:27-30), having fulfilled His mission as the Son of God (John 4:31-38) and recognized by those who join us in believing His testimony (John 4:39-42).

Jesus is the fount of spiritual fulfillment (John 4:1-15), recognized especially by those desperately empty (John 4:16-19) so that we would find fulfillment in Him as the Messiah, God in the flesh (John 4:20-26).

In the account of the resurrection we see scripture fulfilled, the acceptance of Christ's atoning sacrifice for our justification, and the establishing of our hope for our own resurrection in Him.

God used people who acted in greed and cowardice (John 18:1-27), conspiracy and contempt (John 18:19-19:24) to glorify Himself in Jesus’s death.

Jesus washed His disciples' feet as an example of love (John 13:1-17), which is underscored by Judas's selfish behavior (John 13:18-30) and love's clear portrayal of discipleship (John 13:31-35).
