194 | Elevate Your Content Strategy & Imagery To Solidify Your Brand | Creative Directors, Photographers, or DIY? | Brand Alchemy Series Part 3 of 5

    DETAILS HERE: https://stan.store/maximumpotency

    this is FOR YOU IF…
    you’ve struggled with questions like:

how do i put into words what i’m trying to say?

why do I feel all over the place?

why does it feel like no one really knows what I do?

how do I get it to be obvious what i do and what i’m about?

    if you’e said:

i don’t know what to post
i don’t know how to sell
    i don’t know how to stand out…

then i’m here to help you uncover:

    what do you stand for?
    who do you sell to?
how do you talk directly to them? / what language are they using?
    what do your clients need?
what are they eager to buy?
what you can say to speak magnetically & pull them in
do you need to niche down?

    you’ll get:

4 live coaching calls over 4 weeks, access to our course, some social media templates, and more. this will be a SUPER small group, capped at 10 people.

CLICK THE LINK IN THE SHOW NOTES TO ENROLL. Run, don’t walk, becuase this puppy is going to fill up QUICK & it’s honestly a steal. It’s time to hone that brand message and lay the foundation for your personal brand and lock in the longevity of your company.

    SHOW NOTES FROM TODAY:

how can you begin to elevate your photos?

the advantage to working with a creative director instead of just a photographer is that the creative director will understand exactly how these photos are intended to integrate with your content, your website, your business, and not just focus on pretty photos.

this is the difference between good enough, and like HOLY WOW THEY THOUGHT OF EVERYTHING.

    - see our "hire or fire" guide contained within the brand alchemy workbook for guidance on who to hire as a photographer.

    Upgrading Your Content:

we have to take that imagery and pair it up with a deep understanding of marketing trends and aligning content with your audience preferences.

Which implies you’ll need to understand:

    current marketing trends
    your audience’s needs and desires
exactly what you’re here to talk about.

where those things overlap, that’s your content strategies.

I like to create an overlapping strategy called the Content Trifecta.

It’s 1/3: what are the trends of the space/platform/industry?— aka what’s trending.
1/3: who are you, what are you trying to say — aka your content pillars
1/3: user pyschology — aka proven strategies like using humor, polarizing, etc, tried and true content types.

to identify what’s trending, browse content and see whats performing well for your peers in the space. what type of content are people eating up? what audio is trending? what are YOU seeing in the space? this requires some time studying the platform and observing, what’s going on, and why do i think that’s working?

what is the heartset of my brand? how do i want people to feel?
what is the mindset of my brand? what key ideas do i want to share?
what are my top three zones of genius? what topics do i want to be known for? those should fit within the umbrella of your niche/offer.

make sure you have a grasp on the following types of content: story-telling, myth-busting, polarizing, humor, teaching, selling. mix those up. i teach this in depth inside my containers, but youtube school definitely teaches that too.
you’ll need to create a content calendar you can stick to!
ideally we’re posting 4-6x per week

THANK YOU x 3 for hanging out with me each week As usual, be sure to leave a 5 star review and share this episode on IG st

192 | Your Signature Style: Designing Your Visual and Spatial Identity | Brand Alchemy Series Part 2 of 5

192 | Your Signature Style: Designing Your Visual and Spatial Identity | Brand Alchemy Series Part 2 of 5

Today we’re talking about your signature style, on and off screen.

NEW FREEBIE ALERT: the brand alchemy workbook is HERE: https://stan.store/maximumpotency - grab it and go through this series and really thrive!

OUR UPCOMING MINI MIND: Niche Nirvana, a 4 week minimind to help you hone in on your high-converting niche & boost your brand message, so that you have not only a niche that converts, but a rock-solid brand message to run with and anchor into. it’s going to be super tight knit and capped at 10 people max, so if you want a private invite before i release the full details, dm me MINI MIND and let’s talk!!

    --

    Part One: Your work uniform.

I used to always joke around that I was allergic to the word dresscode. That all changed when last august i hired a personal stylist and we got to DEFINE & CREATE ONE.

please don’t wear a messy bun + random shirt to your calls and also be charging $500/hr. it doesn’t add up.

now, i’m CERTAINLY not suggesting that you need to wear a blazer or even dress quote on quote PROFESSIONAL — but what I AM suggesting is that you need to be INTENTIONAL.

and taking this a level deeper, how do you want YOUR BRAND TO MAKE OTHERS FEEEEEL?

    Keyword: feel

think about the following: what can I wear everyday, or nearly everyday, to create a vibe?

go make a shopping list for something like “get 3 pairs of signature earrings” or “buy 3 new black tees” or “get 3 new snapbacks” and then WASH RINSE REPEAT, LITERALLY.
if you want my opinion and guidance, i offer personal style consults for $150 on zoom, where we look at your existing wardrobe, and pull something together, or for $1000, we offer full-service styling where we extract your vision, create your shopping list and offer outfit guidance to create your signature workwear look. dm me STYLE SESSION for more info. these prices will go up in the future, but right now, we’re taking on our first clients for this.

    Part two: your workspace aesthetic.

you cannot just take calls in front of a white wall (it looks like you’re in jail) or at your moms kitchen table anymore. again, the ‘we just started working from home era’ is over.

this starts with aesthetic — again, what colors, textures, elements can you pull in?

    SOME DOs & DONTs

DO intentionally weave color into your space
DONT be backlit, under any circumstance
    DO hide wires
    DO clean up uneccessary clutter
    DO upgrade your wi-fi
DONT use a tapestry as your background - you look like a broke college kid. there, i said it. use art. use texture. use plants. use lights. use a neon sign. use a beautiful room divider. use a bookshelf.
DONT stress if you’re traveling and have to make due once in a while
    DO upgrade your microphone.

just like the style above, we do offer 1 hour DIY consults for office spaces for $150, or full-service redesigns on a case by case basis. we will source the art, furniture, and tech necessary to customize your workspace. Dm me WORKSPACE UPGRADE for more info.

come back next week for a guest episode with my friend Chase Tolleson, we’re going to be talking about SALES FAILS & more. Chase is also going to be co-leading the MINI mind with me! @coach_chase_tolleson on IG.
Part 3 of brand alchemy will resume in two weeks: we will unpack Elevating Your Brand with Photography and Content & The Art of Visual Storytelling. i’ll be talking about why the photo style and content really anchors in your brand with your audience on a deeper level.

share this episode on your story and let me know your key takeaways by tagging me @maximumoptency.
