I love listening and reading my Bible in the morning. This daily podcast, downloaded straight to my phone daily, makes doing both together simply delightful. Gosh. What a day and age to live in, when the Word of God is so ubiquitous and delivered with such attention to quality and detail. I so appreciate Pastor Embewe’s expressiveness, as in, “O Lord…” or as in today’s reading, “O foolish ones and slow of heart to believe all that the Prophets have spoken!! (Luke 24:25). How I wish there was a daily Psalm read likewise by this dear pastor.

I’ve been waiting to hear more of Pastor Mbewe’s reading of scripture since stumbling across a reading on YouTube. His Zambian accent is a precious reminder that God’s word is for the world. Hearing the Bible read in other accents is a blessed sound to my ears. Thank you.
