Edifying
I've listened to at least 10 episodes now and I find them consistently interesting. The authors Ms. Durrow interviews and the topics she covers are worthwhile. Her questions invariably create substantive discussions. Looking forward to listening to more.
Great conversations about race and identity!
I love how Heidi Durrow opens up the dialogue that can be so tricky or sensitive for many people. She is sensitive and inquisitive ~ and expresses her truth and lets others do the same. It is a really positive podcast and highly recommend it.
Positively Edifying
This podcast is so inclusive and heartening. The guests come from diverse backgrounds and Durrow engages them in worthwhile conversation. While those of mixed race, ethnicity, and culture, etc. may appreciate “The Mixed Experience” most, anyone can appreciate Durrow’s podcast. It manages to maintain a delicate balance between universal and specific. Durrow often longs to “move the needle” on discussions of race and culture—and that’s exactly what her podcast does.
