I only have an associates in biblical studies but there is stuff covered in this podcast that I am told (by Mdivs) is not even covered in what their degree covers. I'm not saying that I think nobody should get a formal education; what I am saying is this is a great bible study podcast. It will teach you the importance of (and get you started on the road yourself) understanding the original languages, at least knowing the alphabets and some basic words, because the Old Testament writers words and phrases are being used by New Testament writers to make theological points, and to teach what happened, what was happening during the time the NT writers wrote the Bible, and what WILL happen in the future. Highly highly recommend this podcast, it has changed the level at which I understand scripture exponentially. And I had already read the Bible 10 times and gotten my Associates before I started listening to it.
