The Nerds Are Typing is a weekly podcast where sunshine/grumpy besties, Connie and Delia dive deeper into their favorite fictional works and critically analyze characters through the lens of the Enneagram and Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). From Lord of the Rings, to Harry Potter, to Avatar the Last Airbender, to Legendborn, to Sailor Moon - no fandom will be left untyped. Warning: there will be pitstops at Hogwarts Houses, astrology, and mess!

9: Enneagram 9 & Myers-Briggs Type Indicator ISFP and INFP
In this episode, we review: the Enneagram type 9, “The Peacemaker”; the MBTI ISFP, “The Artist/The Composer” & INFP, “The Mediator/The Healer .” In our season finale, we finally go over Connie’s type and somehow everybody gets dragged in the process. Think of it as one last hurrah! We talk a little about Harry Potter aka the reason for the season and some of our other favorite characters such as: Shikamaru from Naruto, Frodo Baggins from LotR, a host of Sailor Scouts from Sailor Moon, Jane Bennet from Jane Austen’s Pride & Prejudice, Zuko, and so. many. more!

The reads hurt.
So I went into this thinking I was a 9 based off getting INFP originally. Well I’ve recently gotten INTJ and let’s just say the read for 5 HURT YA BOYS SPIRIT. Guess ima 5. Love the show can’t wait for more. I should give y’all 1 star for the read and being drug but hey, it was perfection delivered by another 5.

Never been so happy to get dragged
I’m not always 100% sure I believe in personality tests, but when I heard the episode on fours I was elevated and entertained (and maybe a little bit offended) about how on point the enneagram seems to be, and the MBTI is FINALLY STARTING TO MAKE SENSE thank you Connie!!!! What’s more is that Connie and Delia do it through the lens of some of our favorite characters, and thereby letting us see how the connections we make with them can be more than just fun, but are something rooted in our inner selves. Would give this podcast ten stars if I could!
