Episode 6: Bettie Page – Fitness Pioneer
Ahead of her time in countless ways, Bettie Page was into fitness long before it became mainstream. While a woman at the gym was a rare sight in the 1950s, this didn’t faze the Queen of Pinups: She was putting in work right alongside the guys at a New York City athletic club, and her favorite forms of exercise (including yoga!) often showed up in her modeling poses.
For co-host Tori Rodriguez, these moves sparked the idea to create the Bettie Page Fitness videos. In episode 6 of the Official Bettie Page Podcast, she and Mark Mori discuss these unique workouts as well as Bettie’s lifelong fitness fetish and her ongoing role as an icon of body positivity.

Customer Reviews
Bettie Page Fans, Rejoice!
By far my favorite podcast, highlighting one of my favorite celebrities, Bettie Page. It’s so fun to hear the two hosts, experts in all things Bettie, talk about Bettie and her life in such unique ways (the fitness angle, etc.). It’s clear that they both love her, and that makes all the difference. I can’t wait for more episodes!
Wonderful
Excellent podcast about the iconic and iconoclastic Bettie Page. The hosts are author and yogi Tori Rodriguez (Bettie Page the Lost Years, Little Book of Betti) and documentarian Mark Mori (Bettie Page Reveals All). This podcast feels long overdue and is off to an excellent start. Bettie Page was ahead of her time, and the hosts bring a wealth of expertise and life to this wonderful exploration of why she has been so relevant to so many lives, and will always be a patron saint to many subcultures. A worthy tribute and an excellent show.
