A Compelling View of Salvation | Evy Klassen
Max Harwood and Evy Klassen discuss her upbringing in the Mennonite Church and conversion to Orthodoxy.

Evy would say her top highlights were travelling with her family as a child and then with her husband and their kids as they were growing up. Other favourite times were when she trained to be a nurse in the 80s and when she studied recently for her master’s in peacebuilding and collaborative development. Evy loves creative writing and has recently published a children’s book called ghosts don’t have bodies, which celebrates the privilege of having a body. She is very grateful for her husband, Steve, her kids and their partners, and her grandkids, who have so much to teach her about life.

Customer Reviews
Intriguing
I resonate with the first review by Chan, K. I am drawn to the theology of the Patristics. How we “do church,” however, is something I am still unsettled with after being a part of various evangelical and charismatic streams since the late 1970’s. Thank you, Max Harwood, for hosting this podcast. Thank you also to the guests.
Love this
I am orthodox and this podcast is very helpful 10/10 recommend!!
Solid on Orthodoxy, not so much on argument
When the host and his guests stay in their lane and talk about what Orthodox Christianity believes, the podcast shines. When they start talking about other beliefs, religions, and ideas, they tend to critique caricature versions rather than the fullest, most legitimate and fundamental beliefs. I am learning a lot about Orthodoxy from this podcast, but I cringe whenever they get out of their area of expertise.
