The Over the Cap Podcast Over the Cap

The world will never be the same without her.

Dude for real, just go blow your nose. The constant snorting back snot in my eardrum makes me stop the podcast every time. Also listening to you swallow through headphones is disgusting. Good information if you can get past the “human” noises. Would be great if a little care was taken for the listener. Doesn’t have to be professional, just considerate.

The OTC podcast is excellent. Jason not only is very knowledgeable about the “salary cap”* aspect of football, but is good at explaining the various machinations and how they are used. He answers email questions, drinks beer, and occasionally laments the state of the Jets. I’m not a Jets fan, but I like podcasts where the host has a fav team and talks about them. Also, Jason does not adhere to some arbitrary podcast length. He finishes when he finishes and, esp on days where I am on a long run, it’s nice to have podcasts well over an hour. This is a great companion to the website since it adds context and, if you have a question, Jason will probably answer your email about it.

*here used lazily to mean all things that are associated with it, e.g. contract structure, implications for team building, etc.
