Beth Hunter | Training Kids for Life

Beth Hunter | Training Kids for Life

This week on The Parent Club, we have Beth Hunter! Beth is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the 757. She has 3 adult kids (and 2 grandchildren!) and has plenty of experience learning to discipline her kids, and more importantly - what she learned along the way. Beth will talk about coaching kids in just the right way to train them for life. In the last episode - Eric said that we are raising adults, not raising kids. And that theme continues today here on the Parent Club.

Eric and Ashleigh Sanzone | Discipline: A Heart Issue | Part Two

Parenting is tough. Arguably one of the hardest parts of parenting is discipline. How can we parent through discipline so it is effective - but also ensuring your child knows that it comes from a place of love?

Through the second part of this conversation, we're wrapping up our conversation on Tedd Tripp's "Shepherding a Child's Heart".

Thankful

Thankful to hear tips from Eric who’s been through all the seasons of parenting younger children. Gives hope for those of us in the trenches. 🙌

A grateful listener

I am grateful for this podcast that shares life experiences of parents and families with various backgrounds to help others to navigate the space of parenthood and to help you understand you’re not alone. Regardless of the background of each guest, something about their story has resonated with me and I have found precious nuggets of advice that I could apply in my life. This podcast for me is a wonderful resource because there are many parallels drawn between parenting and a relationship with God. Thank you Matt and Melanie for hosting and asking thoughtful questions of each guest.
