Customer Reviews
Great podcast
I’ve listened to several different podcasts over the past few years and have enjoyed each of them for different reasons. Though this one started out a bit rough, it has gotten very good. I enjoy the approach of interviewing different RUSH fans and sharing their personal experiences as fans. I don’t even mind so much when they stray off topic. It gives the podcast more of a personal touch. And it never ceases to amaze me that younger ones (I’m 53) are such huge RUSH fans! Keep up the good work!
Enjoyable
Hosts are well spoken and have good guests on to talk about Rush.
Take that, ....other Rush podcasts.
This podcast combines some of my favorite things: comedy, friendship, music theory, gear discussions, interviews and of course, the best rock band in the world.......which i forgot bc i’m old.....oh yeah Rush. It’s actually a podcast about Rush and the things that Rush fans love.Which apparently are Marvel Comics,Whataburger, guns,Taylor Swift unnecessary remixes of already perfect albums and trumpeting the merits of such overrated songs as Subdivisions,Circumstances,Tears and Xanadu.while ignoring such classics as Lakeside Park,Dog Years,WITCH HUNT and the slide guitar solo in Making Memories.
Despite all of these annoyances of varying gravity, this is a podcast that entertains and informs with the best of them. Rey and Ben are the best and have a rapport forged in years of friendship, fighting over comics and philosophy and music. Both hosts have studied music formally and know of what they speak when the conversation turns technical. But the best thing about this podcast is the love that they bring to the subject. You won’t find more enthusiasm for Rush anywhere. That is the fuel that should keep this show around for a long time. You need to listen to it.
