Ditch the Music, Please
Mr Renner has a marvellous way with information but seems to think listeners need frivolous heartbeat noises and odd shimmering space music to pay attention to what he's saying. Please continue the great topics but leave the annoying background music for other less evolved podcasters.
Fantastic
Really great podcast! Highly recommend!
Praise for the episode about Bail
I am listening to episode 602: Why is Bail the Worst Idea Ever. This is an editorial I am grateful to hear. One danger of true crime podcasts is that fear of strangers can be encouraged, and the idea that people accused of crimes should be put in cages can feel correct. A person accused of a crime is to be assumed innocent until proved otherwise. Yet people accused often lose their freedom well before getting a day in court. This podcast does take time to consider the humanity of how we are practicing justice in the USA. I don’t always agree, but I am always grateful for the time and thought given to these issues.
