Chris Coole has made a name for himself as one of the top clawhammer banjoists in Old Time and Acoustic music. He is best known for playing in bands such as The Lonesome Ace Stringband and the Foggy Hogtown Boys, collaborations with the likes of Ivan Rosenberg, Erynn Marshall, and John Showman, as well as his solo work. He is also a talented songwriter and instructor, and has an interesting perspective on studying an Appalachian art form in his hometown of Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Keith does and excellent job interviewing the best in the business! It almost makes me want to quit mandolin and play banjo........almost! I also hope someday he will get the king of the six string banjo, Keith Urban on the podcast so I can learn more about hair colors and flat ironing!

This show is a gift to banjo players and the legacy of the instrument. Keith is an intelligent, bright, capable interviewer, and he really gets wonderful stories and details out of his guests.
