Such a Great Listen
This is one of my favorite podcasts.
Love it
I found this podcast after hearing about them on Murdish. I'm so glad to have found another great true crime podcast.
Love the concept & angle
Just listened to the San Luis Obispo Murders - love the angle to sharing the culture of the town. The unique details about the city are always so important and you did your research! I wonder if interviewing someone from those towns is helpful. For example - Rex Krebs was a name everyone knew growing up in SLO. Born in 1992, my parents would say things like “get home before XYZ time - there’s Rex Krebs’s out.” SLO is a small town - everyone knows everyone. Neighbors would leave their garage doors open - Rex Krebs shifted the culture entirely in SLO. It changed how everyone felt as it relates to safety. Those girls stories were like “small town legends.” Also - you mentioned “a missing person who’s poster is still up” - Kristen Smart was missing from Cal Poly. May be good to say her name - it’s worth sharing.
Love your cultural interest and that you stated your credibility at the very beginning. It made me that much more interested in listening. So excited to listen to more!
