Solid insight on Illinois’ challenges and the fate IL Taxpayers and
Former mayor and IL state legislator Ron Sandack has launched an informative and fact-filled podcast which paints a grim but realistic picture of where Illinois Government is on Gov JB Pritzker and the Democrat supermajorities priorities this year. What I love about this podcast is it is brief!!! In under 25 minutes per week (or 16 mins if you can handle 1 1/2 speed) you will get a concise snapshot of the progress on 2019 initiatives designed to close the state pension funding gap... like gaming and Gasoline taxes, Marijuana legalization, gaming in Chicago and elsewhere and of course the proposed graduated state income tax (and the mechanics of both the required IL constitutional amendment and public referendum in Nov ‘20). Ron’s straightforward style and blunt - sometimes brutal - honestly of what Illinoisans face and what is being done (or being proposed) to change things for the better (or worse). A good and informative listen!
