036 | Instead of Entertaining your child, try doing chores together

This sounds simple but it's surprisingly uncommon! In today's episode, I share one of the key factors that I notice parents miss when they try and get their children to help them on family tasks.

034 | Playfulness is more than just about gaining cooperation

034 | Playfulness is more than just about gaining cooperation

Today's episode is inspired by something I heard this week:

"How can I renegotiate my definition of success by how many times did I laugh today?"

This was shared by Blu (@blueofearth) and inspired me to share about how playful parenting runs much deeper than just gaining cooperation. It is our way of sending a message to our children that play is important, even in a society that doesn't value it.

Help for stuck kids!!

Wow!! This has really helped me go deeper to help my sensitive, strong, and stuck kid. All my kids…but especially my one who doesn’t respond to the average responsive parenting! The episode on stuck kids accessing vulnerability was such a lightbulb moment! So grateful you put this and yourself out there for all of us to benefit!! Love your work!

Listening to Ashleigh is truly the most beautiful thing you can do for your family!

Ashleigh (Raising Humans Kind) has a way of explaining what goes on in our toddlers/kids minds and their development which really clicks for me. I am fascinated by pretty much everything she says, and I have done a lot of parenting workshops which have helped, but what Ashleigh has taught me is on another level. Learning the WHY behind behavior and emotions is making me a better, more connected parent. My husband is also very interested when I share what I learn from Ashleigh with him because he likes to know the ‘why’ too. And then once we implement what we learn, it really works, our 3.5 year old is responding so well and our family dynamic is beautiful. It’s not a quick fix by any means, it’s work to parent this way, you have to go deep and continue to learn and grow, but it’s so worth it. And I cannot wait to keep learning more from Ashleigh now that I’ve joined her membership. Thank you Ashleigh, for all you do, if the whole worlds’ parents could parent like this then we would have a peaceful, emotionally healthy world - what a beautiful world that would be!
