Pedro Banman | Collective Healing & Unification | Ep. #4

Pedro is an intentional, thought-provoking leader in the truest sense of the word. Our long discussion centralizes around how to create unification throughout our western culture and move away from the destructive tribalism and extremism that we find afflicting our societies. We discuss how misbeliefs or misconceptions of the world form the way we interact within it and how we can re-navigate and shift these misperceptions to find more empathy, understanding and compassion for others who live and believe a completely different set of principles than we do. We make an effort to discuss how to navigate various potential solutions both collectively and individually through this turbulent time we find ourselves in.

Sarah Casper | Comprehending Consent | Ep. #5

My guest today is Sarah Casper, a consent education and founder of Comprehensive Consent. We discuss navigating consent through a “who, what, where, when, & how” framework to help us figure out more specifically what aspects of any action or touch we are enjoying or not enjoying. How to teach teens experientially what "no" feel like. We also discuss compatibility, accountability and just generally deep dive into all things consent! We later shift into discussing the nuances and parallels with sexual assault and racism, and the differences between calling out and calling in. We disagree on a few key points, which makes for an interesting dialogue.
