Piece of home!
Lived in the UK till my early 20’s then moved to the USA. I stumbled across this podcast last summer and have been hooked ever since. I love listening to all the chat and stories that give me great memories of my childhood (some I even forgot about). The interviews are always top notch. I travel a lot for work, and The Retro Hour makes the boring flights a lot more enjoyable! Oh, and the Christmas shows are always so much fun. Keep up the great work fella’s!!!

Show used to be amazing, but has clearly fallen off
This used to be a must listen, highlight of the week type of podcast, but in recent years is mostly filler content. Dan and Ravi still have great chemistry and as a listener from the US, it was great to hear their computer/Amiga perspective instead of the console centric perspective. Joe, even after all this time, doesn’t really add anything to the show and regularly detracts from it with unqualified/unresearched claims. It’s clear he has a Youtube/Wikipedia type of perspective, so doesn’t really leverage or understand the context of the times being discussed. It’s clear that they have exhausted many of the truly great guests and feel the need to dump out a show regardless of whether the news stories or guest are quality. I wish the show would come out in a season/series type of format with fewer episodes, but back to the original quality.
