The Retro Gaming Discussion Show.

    270 - RGDS- NTSC v PAL

    270 - RGDS- NTSC v PAL

In this episode, Aaron, Matt A & Matt L table the discussion that troubled so many gamers in the 8-bit, 16-bit and even 32-bit era. Which is better, PAL or NTSC. More importantly, what’s the difference?
If you’ve ever been confused about this eternal struggle, we’re here to help. If you don’t know your RGB from your RF, your 60HZ from your Big Black Borders, and perhaps you’re complexed why box art varies so much from region to region, don’t worry… the boys cover all this and more as they pull out the best and the worst that each gaming region has to offer.

Very British

We made podcast that the hosts really prepare for. It is very British tho. Lots of Spectrum talk.

Andy's the best. I listen to this show in the early mornings while I'm driving to work. It's a point in time where I'm always grumpy & have a short fuse, but unlike many other hosts of lesser podcasts, Andy never p***es me off. The other guys are all pretty great as well. Fantastic show! The enthusiasm expressed is always infectious & brings me back to my own childhood memories of standing around in dark arcades & dusty market lobbies spending every quarter of my hard earned allowance. It was the best of times, it was the best of times.
