    In this episode, I interview Dr. Anne Aspler, an emergency physician, professor at the University of Toronto as well as the Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) Director at North York General Hospital and with the Toronto Addis Ababa Academic Collaboration.  She is the mom of two young girls and an author currently writing a memoir about processing family shame.  In this episode, Anne opens up about how our performance of Fight Song at Canada's Got Talent was life changing for her and how the Voices Rock community has helped her through family challenges during the pandemic.

    4. Dr. Susan Thouin, the Origin Story, and Medicine for the Soul

    Dr. Susan Thouin is an emergency and palliative care physician.  In this episode, Susan shares the origin story of Voices Rock Medicine and Voices Rock MED-CONNECT as Susan was the one who started it all.  Susan had the vision to start this choir and approached founder Cheryl Bower with the idea after seeing how much her daughter and husband loved being a part of the Voices Rock Kids and Voices Rock Ensemble choirs.  Over the past two years, Susan has been an incredible leader and has poured so much into creating a really special, tight-nit and welcoming community, one that simply could not have existed without her.
