Dillon Rosenblatt is the Co-Founder (alongside Tom Brady) of Autograph - a platform that is bringing together some of the most legendary names across sport, entertainment, pop-culture, fashion and more to create unique digital collectibles.
On this episode of the Welcome to the Metaverse podcast, we chat all about the role of NFTs in sport, entertainment and fandom and how they can enable a richer experience for fans. Dillon and the Autograph team have managed to attract some of the biggest names in the world to their platform including : Brady, Wayne Gretzky, Naomi Osaka, Tiger Woods, Tony Hawk, Simone Biles, Usain Bolt, Derek Jeter, Robert Gronkowski, and Dale Earnhardt Jr. As well as major partnerships with DraftKings, Lionsgate and AEG. Earlier this year they raised $170 million from their series B funding round to bring web 3.0 to the masses.
We discuss how the platform came to be, what it's like working with the world's biggest stars, how NFTs are changing the sport/fan relationship like never before and what is coming next from this incredible company.
