Last Week in Livestock
Do you wonder what goes on within the livestock industry? Most major publications won't waste their time with the stories that effect us. Heres my attempt to give you the articles and stories from our world that have some interest to me and hopefully to you. Enjoy!
Justin Mosher - Creating a Name
Genuine, humble, driven. Just some of the words I would use to describe this guest. Owner operator of Blue Mountain Livestock with his wife, Alison. Proven sire, even has twins on the way. Justin is a young man in this industry navigating the path of creation. In an already saturated market, he gives us his insights into what he finds important while making a name for yourself. Great conversation and I can't wait to have him on again in the future.
Caleb Johnston - The Chemist
Hes innovative and not afraid to take chances. Isn't that what we need in our industry? Past FFA State Officer, Caleb is the owner of Sawtooth Supplement Service. His education is in chemistry and that has allowed him create livestock feed that is the highest quality and most efficient. Check it out.
One of the finest graphic designers in our industry. Cade is a man of the people. Competitive, driven, and sharp. The graphic design work in our industry is always changing and adapting and Cade always seems to be up with the times. Check him out and give him your business.
Heading home from Western Bonanza listening to Ernest Donohue’s podcast. I’ve been working with him since my second fair and I’m now wrapping up my senior year. I’ve learned countless lessons from Ernest and I’ve also had lots of success. I would not be raising hogs at the level I am without Ernest’s help and support.
Bad background music
I don’t like the music in the background for the whole show. So hard to listen to I had to turn it off. Could have been funny, sad, good or bad but I could focus or understand because of distractive background music.
I’m a mom that listens to podcast traveling to jackpots. I’m new to post casting, there’s a story in my town that hit my interest and I’m obsessed with true crime. But I thought to search for livestock and found your podcast. My family shows sheep and cattle and I feel like you hit it home for me. I listen to you now religiously. I’d like you to interview Del Peterson. Long time sheep producer and a retired AG teacher.
