SOA 008 - Aly Porter - GBY Solutions

Welcome to the Sisterhood of Awesome Podcast, Episode 8!
On this week’s episode of the Sisterhood of Awesome Podcast, I interview Aly Porter. She is the CEO of GBY Solutions and also owns a product business, Kinder Keepsakes, and coaching business,  alysonporter.com as well.  She is a wife and mom of 4 kids.  Three girls and a boy.  She loves to spend time with her family and her wonderful team at GBY Solutions.  She loves to help others reach their goals in life and business.  Both for her VA's and Clients.
How it all got started:  Aly had been working on her product business for a long time and even though she had some success she really didn't feel like she was making the traction that she needed.  It was then that Aly realized that the only way that she was going really grow in her business was to get help.  So she started hiring people around her that knew more than she did!  That is when the traction in her business really took off.
It was then that she realized by outsourcing she was finally able to get her life back and spend time with her kids and family but her sales also increased as well!  She learned the hard way that she was only one person and she couldn't do it all by herself.  The secret she found to her success was getting help and delegating!
That is why she created GBY Solutions.   To allow others to finally have the opportunity to grow in their business and build a team around them so that they would be able to succeed in their business as well!  So she goes out and finds the best VA's and the best team for you to work with!

SOA 007 - Misty Chladek - Community of Christian Creatives

SOA 007 - Misty Chladek - Community of Christian Creatives

Welcome to the Sisterhood of Awesome Podcast, Episode 6!
On this week’s episode of the Sisterhood of Awesome Podcast, I interview Misty Chladek. Misty is an artist, author, speaker, creative entrepreneur and community builder. She is committed to providing authentic beautiful artwork that flows from a genuine relationship with God, our creator. Her artwork reflects our creator and promotes peace and vision, as well as healing.
    The Book
Inside the pages of Misty’s book, Love Letters of Jesus, you will find her step-by-step journey to physical healing. You will read about the struggles, heartaches and victories that God walked her through.  When Misty was young a question was planted in her heart and it wouldn’t be until she was much older that the Lord would give her an answer.  That question had to do with why, why would she have to walk through so many difficulties and so much pain.
“The Lord answered her question with this – ‘You are my Love Letter, my Love Letter to the world.’  He has made us love letters to the world, a book to be read.  Our lives are literally his love letters to the lost and dying, a light post for them to see their way back to the Father.  We need to shine, not for our own glory but to reveal Him.”
    The Community
God has planted a vision in Misty’s heart to create a community of Christian creatives who love God and want to bring him glory through embracing their desire to create life-giving art using their gifts and talents. Misty’s heart is to support and encourage artists to thrive in their giftings through this community.
    Who inspires Misty? Matt Tommey

SOA 006 – Amy Langmaack – Be The Proof

Welcome to the Sisterhood of Awesome Podcast, Episode 6!
On this week’s episode of the Sisterhood of Awesome Podcast, I interview Amy Langmaack. She is wife, mom, blogger, and avid reader! She blogs about being intentional about your legacy at BeTheProof.org. You will love getting to know her!
Amy and her husband, Eric started Be The Proof in 2016 as a place to dialogue about legacy and how that impacts family.  They live in Texas with their daughter, Sarabeth.  Amy works part time as a nanny (with Sarabeth!), and the rest of the week squeezes in blog time in the midst of playing with Sarabeth. She loves to read, drink coffee and journal.

After Sarabeth was born in 2014, Amy became passionate about the legacy that she and Eric would be passing on to her daughter.  With Eric's help, she created the idea of My Legacy Life and living a Legacy Lifestyle, which is the opportunity to change the ways you are living life in order to pass on a legacy worth living to the next generation.
