Love these Youts

The personality behind The Tip of the Iceberg makes the podcast fun to listen to, which is so wonderful and unique for such a challenging, tough topic. The variety of stories being discussed, the amount of information shared, the range of subjects covered, all make this podcast a staple in my feminist diet.

A great way to learn

I have limited knowledge of the complexities of this issue but I am learning so much each time I listen! I think there are a lot of people who wonder where the line is for DV and SA. So many people seem to believe that DV or SA has specific symptoms and can be identified in a moment, in the same way a person would be tested for strep. The difficulties of identifying DV and SA from the outside and inside of the situation are handled with respect and compassion by the hosts. In fact, the topics are so intense and upsetting to consider that if the hosts did not approach them with optimism and lightheartedness, I would find it too bleak to continue. The hosts give me hope that, with understanding and compassion, the world can change and be better. Thank you for teaching me and empowering me with knowledge and increased sensitivity.
