Today, half of all marriages performed in the United States will end in divorce; and the statistics for second and third marriages plummet significantly. It leads to broken families and blended families that become more the norm than the exception.

While we would be right to remember that divorce is not an unpardonable sin, it is important to remember that it is indeed classified in God's Word as a sin and something that He hates to see. With divorce becoming so much more prevalent in our world, it is important for Christians to know God's teaching and the significance of grace in all circumstances.
