All Humans Lie. Why do we lie and when is it acceptable in society to lie? Are all lies bad? Are some lies not only necessary, but also required?

One of the major tenets of Humanity is the Need to Control. Why is that need so important. Why do Humans feel the need to control everything? From their environment, to the path of their lives and more importantly, others. Why do people feel the need to control others and how far does this need go?
