34: A Client Interviews Me: Daniel Shaw talks about Strength and Fitness with me
In this episode I get the unique experience of letting one of my strength and fitness clients interview me a little about as we talk about his progress and some great details about programming and strength & fitness training. Daniel Shaw is also a well known gunfight instructor in the firearms training world, a combat vet and a very knowledgeable guy all around. This was a new level of discussion about these topics that I really enjoyed.
33: My Remote Coaching Program and why barbell training ticks me off
In this episode I talk specifically about my remote coaching program for strength and fitness conditioning, including the introduction of my new program Team JACKED, a super affordable team-based way to get strong and fit. I also talk about what gets under my skin about barbell training in the current era of fitness and, in my humble opinion, what we've lost along the way.
32: AAR with Students from the Alliance CQB Force on Force class
This episode is a live after action review with multiple students that attended my Force on Force CQB course at the Alliance Police Facility shoothouse May 16-17. We talk in depth about some of the takeaways and memorable moments of the class, as well as discuss the class structure and what the next class will look like.
(Note: this is a LIVE recording, so please excuse the audio quality as there were multiple participants on various devices.)
31: Client Interview with Johnny on Training specificity, component training, general preparedness
In this episode I sit down with one of the clients of my remote fitness coaching program. Johnny has achieved some phenomenal results in a few short months, and that was after him training at a very high level of effort for nearly a decade. We talk about how we achieved new goals, PRs and how multi-method training has been for him after 10 years of exclusively Crossfit style training.
30: It's easier to prepare for the fight that lasts 7 seconds, than for the one that lasts 7 weeks
In this episode I break my silence about COVID 2020 and talk about what I see happening. In particular, I take a look at the qualities we work to build on the range and in the gym, and how those same characteristics are what we need to get through the longer term challenges of life. That fight that lasts 7 seconds or 7 minutes is easy to prepare for compared to the one that will last 7 weeks or 7 months.
29: Aimee Langdon and Kaitlyn Bauer
In this episode I sit down with two of my favorite girls in fitness, Aimee Langdon and Kaitlyn Bauer to talk about fitness, coaching, nutrition, career advice and much more. Aimee is a Crossfit coach and the mover and shaker over at Langdon Tactical, and Kaitlyn is a personal trainer, Crossfit coach and Nutrition Coach. This is a long podcast, take it in chunks, or listen to all at once. Either way I am sure you will enjoy it!

Violence dynamics defined perfectly
Most martial arts and self defense instructors concentrate their time on the fight. It just needs to be in line with HOW violence really happens in the world, these podcasts nail that home.
Amazing podcast with content and experience related to the martial life that you simply won't get anywhere but here.
