The Voice of the Vine is a Christian interview style podcast where I interview Christians from all different backgrounds and occupations, in hope of inspiring or educating listeners, or helping them grow in some way.

Mark Armitage
Mark Armitage is the senior Microscopist at the Dinosaur Soft Tissue Research Institute, and is an expert when it comes to anything to do with microscopes and soft tissues. I spoke with Mark a little over a year ago, back before Covid hit, and I was really excited for this interview. I've always loved Dinosaurs, and when I first was getting serious about my faith, Dinosaurs were one of the things I was questioning, so speaking with Mark was really fun.

Jonathan Horton
I interviewed Jonathan late last year, before the pandemic hit, and I'm just now getting to post his interview. He's a former Olympic champion who now competes on American Ninja Warrior. I really enjoyed talking about sports and the different types of strength/endurance needed in different sports, the concept of the participation trophy and more.

Mhairi Marwick and Scott Wood
I was so happy when I first found Celtic Worship on YouTube a while back. Their music has become some of my favorite to listen to, and the videos they put out on YouTube are so well done too. I had the chance to talk to Mhairi Marwick and Scott Wood from the band, and it was a really fun interview. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

Heather Mangum
In this episode I talk to Heather Mangum from 12 Stone Church. We talk a lot about worship music and her calling early on in her life to serve God, and her "Mommy of this Place" video from a few years back. I really enjoyed this interview, and I hope you love it as well.
Here is the "Mommy of this Place" video we reference in the interview if you'd like to check it out - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IxnHLZTPK7E
Here is a more recent video of Heather on 12Stone Worship's instagram, worshipping God from home during the pandemic - Heather Leading Worship -
Dr. Kent Hovind
In this episode of the podcast, I talk to Dr. Kent Hovind, aka Dr. Dino. I found Dr. Hovind on Youtube originally, and enjoyed his talks about the ark and dinosaurs and out of place artifacts and other things. and really enjoyed the way he presented things. So, we talked a bit about his past, his work with www.drdino.com and his Dinosaur Adventure Land in Alabama, along with the topics I mentioned from his previous videos.
So, I hope you enjoy this interview with Dr. Kent Hovind! -
Episode 34 - Father Matt Foley
If you're anything like me, the name "Matt Foley" immediately brings forth a great memory of Chris Farley on Saturday Night Live, or if you were lucky enough to have been there, at Second City in Chicago. The Motivational Speaker first appeared on SNL in May of 1993, over 26 years ago, and yet I still quote it to this day.
Well, Chris named that character after a good friend from his college rugby team, who is my guest on this episode, Father Matt Foley. Matt has had a long story of service to the Lord including missions in Mexico, tours as an Army Chaplain and more, and it was an honor to get to speak with him and hear his story.
