There are 3 Phases to this book
The CourtshipThe Wedding Night The MarriageWhile this book may make a few people uncomfortable,  it answers  the questions on how to enjoy marriage at the right time with the right person.

Ecclesiastes: Wisdom Literature, Four of Five

Ecclesiastes: Wisdom Literature, Four of Five

We've made it to our Third Season, The Wisdom Books of the Bible.

In this episode, we studied the Book of Ecclesiastes, the fourth book of the Wisdom Literature Series.  It's believed that this book was written towards the end of Solomon's life as he's reflecting back over his life and his desire is to pass along his wisdom to us.

We covered this book in 3 sections:
(1:1-11) – Introducing the Issue(1:12-12:8) - Looking at the Meaning of Life(12:9-14) – Importance of Focusing on GodSolomon was the author for most of the book.  He wrote Ecclesiastes to show that material things fade away and the real meaning of life can only be found in things from above.   Everything is Vanity!  Solomon was the wisest person to ever live! he's the WOAT... Wisest Of All Time!

The book of Ecclesiastes answers the question, "What's my purpose?"  Our purpose is to Fear God and Enjoy Life!

Who are we?  We're two life-long friends who share the same Christian values and are both seeking a deeper relationship with God. Join us as we drop knowledge from our study of God’s word. Proverbs: Wisdom Literature, Three of Five

Proverbs: Wisdom Literature, Three of Five

We've made it to our Third Season, The Wisdom Books of the Bible.

In this episode, we studied the Book of Proverbs, the middle book of the Wisdom Literature Series.  Since this is such a unique book, we did things a little different.   We covered this book in 3 sections:
(1-9) – Father to Son Wisdom
    (10-29) - Proverbs of Solomon
(30-31) – Wisdom from Agur and Lemuel

Solomon was the author for most of the book.  He wrote these Proverbs to the wise men of Israel as a manual for how to live wisely day-to-day.   Solomon was the wisest person to ever live! he's the WOAT... Wisest Of All Time!

The book of Proverbs isn't a book of promises; it's a book of principles.

Who are we?  We're two life-long friends who share the same Christian values and are both seeking a deeper relationship with God. Join us as we drop knowledge from our study of God’s word. Psalms: Wisdom Literature, Two of Five

Psalms: Wisdom Literature, Two of Five

We've made it to our Third Season, The Wisdom Books of the Bible.

In this episode, we studied the Book of Psalms.  Since this is such a unique book, we did things a little different.   This book has 5 sections:
    (1-41) – Book 1
    (42-72) - Book 2
    (73-89) – Book 3
    (90-106) - Book 4
    (107-150) - Book 5

There wee many authors of this book that were written throughout the entire Old Testament.  The audience varied based on the timeframe of that author.  But this book is a collection of prayers & praises towards God.

The book of Psalms not only speaks to us... it speaks for us, answering to our every mood and stage of our spiritual development.

Who are we?  We're two life-long friends who share the same Christian values and are both seeking a deeper relationship with God. Join us as we drop knowledge from our study of God’s word. Job: Wisdom Literature, One of Five

Job: Wisdom Literature, One of Five

We've made it to our Third Season, The Wisdom Books of the Bible.

While studying the Book of Job, we were able to break it up into 4 sections:
    (1-2) – The Testing, (3-37) – Dialog with Friends, (38-41) – God’s Thoughts, and (42) – Job’s Restoration.

The author, the audience, and the time this book was written is unknown but the reason it was written was to show that God's people still suffer and that the righteous will be blessed even greater if they continue in righteousness.

We may not get to know why bad things happen but we get to know God.

Esther: The Historical Books, Twelve of Twelve

We're at the close of  our Second Season, The Historical Books of the Bible.

While studying the book of Esther, we uncovered some powerful information.  Esther was broken up into 3 Sections:
(1-2) The Rebuild(3-4) The Revival(5-10) Victory of the Jews"For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?”
    Esther 4:14

Esther was written to show God was still involved with the Jews who remained in exile.
